SPECIALIST SINGLE DOSE GRINDER
Single dose grinder works by grinding only the amount or dose of coffee required for a single serve or shot of espresso. For example if you require 18 grams of coffee - you only run 18 grams of beans through the grinder leaving the grinder free to grind another coffee bean blend or to change to a different grind setting and brew method.
HOW TO USE THIS SINGLE DOSE GRINDER
Single dose grinder relies on a good quality set of coffee scales - these are sold separately.
Weigh out the desired amount of coffee beans using a good quality scale - this is your single dose of coffee - we recommend using the included dosing cup to hold the dose of coffee beans.
Make sure the metal hopper closing tab is in the closed position.
Load your dose of coffee beans into the hopper - place the dosing container under the grinder outlet.
Switch on the grinder motor - switch located on the side of the unit.
Open the hopper closing tab - coffee will begin to be ground.
When all the coffee has exited the coffee hopper - keep the motor running - press the hopper bellows to gently blow any remaining coffee from the grinder mechanism.
Switch off the grinder motor.
Close the hopper closing tab.
Remove the dosing cup containing your ground coffee - load the coffee into your filter holder or other brewing device.

Extremely Low Retention
Mignon Zero 55s uses a special low retention design to minimise ground coffee retained within the grind mechanism. Dead space within the grind chamber is minimised to achieve very low retention of ground coffee within the grind mechanism.
"Blow Up" bellows
Bellows are included with the hopper and can be used to gently blow any remaining coffee out of the grinding mechanism. Press on the top of the bellows to blow air through the grind chamber conveying any coffee grounds to the outlet chute.
Dosing Cup
The grinder includes a stainless steel dosing cup used to manage both coffee beans and ground coffee. Use the dosing cup to measure and load coffee beans into the coffee hopper, then place the dosing cup under the outlet chute and collect all the ground coffee. The dosing cup will fit 57mm and 58mm filter holders. Transfer ground coffee directly from the dosing cup to the filter holder of your espresso machine.
Less waste, less mess
Grind just the amount of coffee that you require. Single dose grinding means that you grind only the coffee that you are going to use for that particular drink. Waste is minimised by maximising the percentage of your beans that end up as ground coffee in your filter holder. Mess is reduced by collecting ground coffee in the dosing cup and then cleanly transferring this to your filter holder.
Fast grind speed
55mm grinding burrs and powerful motor deliver a 18g double shot of espresso in around 10 seconds.

The Single Dose grinder is engineered to operate with remarkable quietness, thanks to its specialized isolation system designed to effectively dampen and suppress any unwanted vibrations or disruptive noises. Quiet operation means you can operate the grinder without interrupting your conversation or disturb your household. Much quieter than almost all other comparable coffee grinders.
