Preparing your espresso machine for freight
Drain all of the water out of the machine, if possible draing the boiler. Empty the water container and drip tray and make sure the water container, drip tray, etc are dry before packaging. Empty any coffee beans out of your machine. you don't live close to one of our service centres, you can freight your machine to us for repair or service. What to include with your coffee machine.
Everything! Please remember to include the water tank, drip tray, filter-holder(s), etc... For automatic machine please remember to include all water containers, coffee containers, waste drawers, drip trays, etc to ensure we can test and operate your machine.
How to package the coffee machine for freight.
If you have the original box, this is ideal for sending your coffee machine to us. If you do not have the original box, package it in a box larger than the machine with sufficient room for packaging.
Please package the machine in an UPRIGHT position. Do not lie your coffee machine on its side, otherwise water may leak out. Include packaging around the machine to protect it (newspaper, foam, or shredded paper is ideal).
Clearly mark the package THIS WAY UP to minimise the lifelihood of your machine being freighted on its side or upside-down.
