How to clean your espresso machine
1) Dissolve the contents of one sachet into 1 litre of warm water and stir well, a blue cleaning solution will form. Pour the cleaning solution into the water reservoir. Attach the portafilter (handle) and place an empty container below.
2) Turn the machine on and let it come up to operating temperature. Open the steam valve and allow approximately 100ml of solution to flow through the steam nozzle. Close the steam valve. Activate the coffee button as you would normally do to extract an espresso. Allow the entire volume of cleaning solution to pass through the machine until the reservoir is empty, then switch off the coffee button. Discard entire solution once it has passed through your machine.
3) Remove the portafilter(handle), rinse all components, and repeat steps 1 and 2 twice with clean water only. You can soak portafilters and filter baskets in Cleancaf solution then rinse all components with clean water
