At Espresso Machine Company, we take your privacy seriously. It’s pretty simple. We won’t do anything with the personal information you give us that we wouldn’t want done with our own personal information.
We do store some information - but not your credit card number
To allow us to process your order we will collect and store your delivery and contact information. We don’t store any credit card information on our web site. Each time you place an order your creidt card payment is processed by a secure service directly with our bank provider or Paypal.
Google Analytics
Like pretty much every other website we uses Google Analytics to collect information about what people look at and purchase on the website. Google Analytics is a piece of software that grabs a snippet of information about visitors to this site. Analytics uses a small piece of information "Cookie" stored on your computer when you use our website.
What does Google Analytics record?
- What website you came from to get here
- What you were searching for
- What kind of computer or mobile device you are using
- And quite a bit more
What do we do with the data? The tracking information allows us to better understand the kind of people who visit the site and what they are looking for. THis allows us to make better decisions about product delection, design, and writing. No personally identifying data is included.
All of our activity falls within the Google Analytics Terms of Service.
Security
Our state of the art website is secured using GeoTrust 256 bit encyption.
3rd parties?
We don't share your information with everyone because that wouldn't be right. However, if you subscribe to our newsletter we will store your name and email address on our mailing list on a 3rd party service. They are nice people and promise not to share your information with anyone else, you can read their privacy policy here.
Adwords
Espresso Machine Company advertise with Google. Google may show you our ads based on your having visited our site. If you do not wish to see these ads you can opt-out by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page here.
