Single Boiler

Single boiler espresso machines have one boiler used for brewing espresso and steaming milk. 

While you aren't able to steam milk and brew coffee simultaneously, its quite simple to get into the rythum of heating your machine to steam mode, frothing your milk, cooling the machine down, extracting your espresso, and then creating your cappuccino or flat white.
