Rubber back flush disc for commercial and domestic espresso machines. This is a useful alternative to inserting a dedicated blind filter into your filter holder. Simply insert the back flush disc into the bottom of the double coffee filter basket so that it blocks the holes in the bottom of the basket.

SUITABILITY
Suitable for use on espresso machines fitted with a manual or electric three way solenoid valve. This includes espresso machines with e61 style group heads.
Suitable for espresso coffee machines with 57mm and 58mm brewing groups.
IMPORTANT
Only suitable for coffee machines that can be back flushed. This is coffee machines with a electric or mechanical 3 way brew valve. If in doubt - please consult your coffee machine user manual.
HOW TO USE - HOW TO BACK FLUSH YOUR ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE
Wipe clean your filter holder filter and coffee filter basket - place the rubber back flush disc in the bottom of the coffee filter basket.
Add a small measure of cleaning product.
Insert the filter holder into the brewing group and operate the coffee delivery function until the pressure builds - then switch off the coffee delivery function.
Cleaning product and water is vented back behind the shower screen and out of the drain valve.
Repeat until coffee cleaner is throughout the brewing drain system - typically 5 times.
Now wait - allow cleaner to soak and clean the brewing system.
Remove and rinse the filter holder with clean water.
Insert the filter holder into the brewing group and operate the coffee delivery function until the pressure builds - then switch off the coffee delivery function.
Fresh water from the brewing system is vented back behind the shower screen and out of the drain valve.
Repeat until coffee cleaner is rinsed from the brewing drain system - typically 5 times.
